Mindong Motor Research Institute was founded in 1989, recognized as “Fujian Hi-tech Enterprise” in 1992, and “First Batch of Corporate Technology Center in Fujian Province” in 1996. The Institute now boasts 45 R&D personnel (including 12 senior engineers and 18 engineers), 50 new products with national and provincial appraisals (13 up to international advanced standards, 16 pioneering and leading in China), a number of new products and technologies with national utility model patents. In 1998, the Institute participated in the rare earth permanent magnet motor project of the “National 863 Hi-tech Project”, and accumulated rich related experience.
